Dr. Abdul Wahed Khalid Darvishan, academic member of Natural Resources and Marine Sciences faculty, traveled to Russia as a university representative to pursue an understanding between Tarbiat Modares University and Perm State Agro-Technological University.
At the beginning of the meeting a brief introduction of Tarbiat Modares University, in particular two faculties of Agriculture and Natural Resources and Marine Sciences, was presented, and then questions were asked about the university’s facilities and potentials.
In addition to following the clauses of the memorandum, other activities were carried out, including:
- Paper presented as a top lecturer at an international conference entitled “Topical Issues of Soil Science, Agro-Chemistry, and Ecology in Natural and Anthropogenic Landscapes”
- Lecture at a specialized meeting with faculty and students in the Soil Science department at the University
- Interview with one of the Russian TV channels about comparing soil erosion in Iran with Russia
